Later this month, the University of Oklahoma will host an ESports career fair and it may be a little different than what you normally would think a career fair is.
The school's ESports student club has partnered with a company called GamerJibe, which has developed a virtual interaction platform that will act as a career fair. Avatars are able to move around and have 1-on-1 conversations, both audio and video, with perspective ESports employers. OU expects there to be over 1700 students, alumni, and outside users to join, as it is a world-wide invite.
The University's career festival will be held from May 18-22, while the actual career fair will take place on Wednesday, May 20th from 4-9 pm.
