A decade later and these two Olympians are still posing for pictures together, with just one major detail changed.
Ten years ago a 9-year-old girl with a bright smile posed for a picture with Michael Phelps. At the time the little girl, you know now as the Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, was just getting the autograph of her swimming idol.
Now, Ledecky, 19, gets to pose alongside Phelps as his USA Swimming Olympic teammate, proving that dreams really do come true.
