For the last six years former Oklahoma Sooners gymnast Jake Dalton and OU coach Mark Williams have trained in a Norman gym.
For one thing - the Olympics.
And Monday night, their work may just pay off in Olympic gold, silver or bronze.
Williams is the head coach of Team USA, while Dalton is joined by two other former Sooners, Chris Brooks and Alex Naddour on the team.
"Representing the United States of America at the very highest level, it's amazing," said Williams.
"Every single routine you do counts. Everyone's watching. All your training comes down to the minute or 30 second on that event," said Dalton.
Dalton plays a key role for Team USA. He's one of the best in the world in both the floor exercise and the vault.
At the 2012 London games, Team USA had the lead after qualifying, only to finish fifth in the finals.
"This (Olympics) was about redemption for Jake," said Williams.
On Monday night, Dalton gets his redemption, and in his corner, the perfect coach to bring out his very best.
"I will whisper to Jake, 'You're back in Sam Viersen, I'm making you do one more routine, that's all it is.'"
