OWASSO - Union running back Shamari Brooks put on a show Friday night as the Redskins upset the No. 1 Jenks Trojans in the 6A-1 semifinals.
Brooks scored four touchdowns and had 250 total yards as Union eliminated Jenks 45-21 in high school football playoffs. The Redskins moved to 10-2 on the season while Jenks ended its year at 11-1.
It will be the same scenario for Union in the state championship game against undefeated Norman North. The Norman school soundly defeated the Redskins earlier this season. The state title game is expected to be played at the University of Tulsa's Chapman Stadium. The likely date for that game is Dec. 2.
