OSU to remember the ten at Wed. game

STILLWATER, Okla. – It’s been 15 years since ten people who were part of the Oklahoma State University community were lost in a tragic plane crash.

Ten people, among them were two OSU basketball players and those associated with the team, were heading back to Stillwater from Colorado when their plane crashed during a snow storm.

The southwest lobby of Gallagher-Iba Arena, also called the Memorial lobby, will open at 8 a.m. and welcomes anyone wishing to visit and pay their respects on Wednesday.

Family members, alumni, friends, former basketball players and former coach Eddie Sutton, are expected to be in attendance for the events scheduled below.

8:00 a.m. – Memorial Lobby opens for visitors
6:37 p.m. – OSU Library Carillon bells will toll 10 times in honor of each of those that have been lost.
7:45 p.m. – Moment of silence.
8 p.m. – Oklahoma State vs. Baylor tipoff.
Halftime – OSU Counseling Services will receive the proceeds from last year’s Remember The Ten Run.
