NORMAN, Okla. -- Sooners running back Joe Mixon has been suspended for Thursday night's game in Iowa for violating team rules, reports Sooner Sports.
OU Head Coach Bob Stoops spoke out following the announcement. "OU sets very high standards and they must be met by all of our student-athletes."
"I regret that I did not respond appropriately to parking attendants and understand and accept the consequences," said Mixon following the news.
