The Oklahoma Sooners have been selected as the number 2 seed in the West for the NCAA Tournament.
The Sooners will be playing Cal. State Bakersfield on Friday.
For the University of Oklahoma, it wasn't a question of if they'll participate in the NCAA tournament, but a question of their seed.
Projections had the Sooners occupying a number 1 seed, but after a 5-5 record to finish the season, they are slotted as a number 2 seed in ESPN's bracketology playing in Oklahoma City for the first two rounds.
