NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield has been named the Big 12 basketball Player of the Week.
The selection announced Monday marks the fourth time this season and the sixth time in Hield's OU career that he's won the weekly award.
The senior guard averaged 31 points, 6.5 rebounds, two assists and one steal as the No. 1 ranked Sooners beat Texas Tech and LSU last week. He had 30 points in the win over Texas Tech and 32 in the victory at LSU.
