STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State University has named Mike Boynton as the new head basketball coach.
The University took to Twitter Friday afternoon to make the announcement.
Boynton is a former assistant for the Cowboys.
The announcement comes after Brad Underwood made the sudden decision to take a job at the University of Illinois.
