University of Tulsa play-by-play broadcaster Bruce Howard has been the voice of the Golden Hurricane since 1993.
Before his time at Tulsa, Howard was a 21-year old radio reporter and disc jockey at WATN-AM in Watertown, New York. He had the chance to cover the 1980 Olympic games at Lake Placid and was there for the legendary 'Miracle on Ice' game.
Jacob Tobey has the story of what it was like for Howard to break the news that the USA upset the Soviet Union on February 22nd, 1980.
