OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma City teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are finalists for spots on the 2016 U.S. Olympic basketball team.
Durant and Westbrook are among 30 players announced as finalists on Monday for spots on the eventual 12-member team that will be announced later this year.
The two were members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic team that won a gold medal and helped the U.S. Men's World Championship team to a gold medal in 2010.
Also, Thunder assistant coach Monty Williams is a part of head coach Mike Krzyzewski's staff and Thunder head athletic trainer Joe Sharpe will lead the training staff.
