POTEAU, OKLA. — The Poteau police department is warning of a despicable scheme.
In a facebook post, the agency says someone is trying to use the death of a firefighter to scam people out of money.
According to the official gofundmeaccount, Don Goforth died Sunday after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer.
