A group of Kansas City teens had no idea what to expect when two police officers stopped in a patrol car in their neighborhood on Sunday.
Little did they know they were about to be treated to Officer Krebs' dance moves.
It started a spontaneous dance-off that was caught on video by a neighbor.
Officer Smith was with Krebs and offered the group of kids Jolly Ranchers if they would compete in a dance-off with Krebs. They agreed and the street turned into a dance stage.
The younger children and teenagers threw down with the latest dance moves. The teenagers had sleek versions of the robot.
The two teams traded moves and when it was over the young people clearly beat Krebs, but the officer insists that he also won.
"When I joined the police force I told them I wanted to build rapport with the community because I feel like if we build rapport with them then they are more likely to call us when they need us," Krebs said.
