Wagoner County - A Coweta woman was arrested on numerous complaints after attempting to run from a deputy on patrol.
Just after noon on Thursday, a deputy with the Wagoner County Sheriff's office noticed three vehicles inside a normally locked gate on AEP/PSO property. A statement from Maj. Gary Handley said the deputy attempted to make contact with the drivers of a silver pickup truck, a gold pickup and a blue SUV and all three drove away, ignoring his command to stop.
The deputy chased the silver pickup to the area of 25100 S. 413 E. Ave. near the Arkansas River. Deputies say Sara Jo Hagan-Ingle, 27, took off on foot through a nearby creek. She was caught and taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Deputies also located a loaded rifle and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Hagan-Ingle was jailed on complaints of burglary, eluding an officer, knowingly concealing stolen property, possession of a firearm after a felony conviction and possession of drug paraphernalia.
There was no word on whether the drivers of the other vehicles were caught.
