TULSA - Some vendors spent Wednesday night making final preparations for the fair

One of the vendors at the fair is a Missouri man who made four trips with trucks loaded with logs from his house near Springfield just for the Tulsa State Fair.

This will be Keith Gregory's fourth year at the fair. He sells wood carvings and will even custom carved wood for people. He says the eagle is a top seller in Tulsa.

He's noticed an increased demand for wood carvings in recent years

"Especially when you're right here carving it making it right in front of them it really changes their perception of it they realize this really is handmade," said Keith Gregory of Grizzly Mountain Saw Works.

Gregory is just one of the dozens of vendors set up at this year's fair.
