Tulsa Fire Department pulls unconscious man from home while battling house fire in north Tulsa

TULSA -- Firefighters working to extinguish a house fire in north Tulsa found a man unconscious in the bedroom.

The call for the home near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and East Zion Street went out around 6 a.m.

Firefighters pulled the man from the house and began performing CPR. The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The Tulsa Fire Department believes the fire started due to a space heater, however the official cause is still under investigation. No working smoke detectors were found in the home.
