TULSA - The Tulsa Christmas Parade Committee gave a preview of some floats for its 90th parade next month.
The theme of the parade is "Christmas Cheer of Yesteryear."
Each float will represent a different year or time period.
"I've got five kids, my oldest is 7, my youngest is 9 months. And I can't wait to see their look on their face when they see the marching bands, they see the floats, and then see the giant four-story helium Mr. Murph balloon," said Tulsa Christmas Parade President, Paul Ross.
The parade kicks off on December 10 at 6 p.m. Floats and bands will begin marching on Boston Ave. at about 7th St. The U-shaped route goes west on 3rd St. to Boulder, then turns south to the end of the route at about 8th St. A map of the route shows staging areas from 5th St. to 11th St. between Detroit and Main.
The committee says it's not too late to enter a float from your business or group. The new deadline is Dec. 1.
