ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. -- OSBI is investigating after a deputy-involved shooting in Rogers County Sunday evening, say officials with the Rogers County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say they were called to a home northwest of Oologah around 5 p.m. after receiving reports of a violation of a protective order.
When officers arrived, they say the suspect was in his vehicle blocking the victim from leaving the driveway.
Deputies say they noticed a pistol in the suspect's hands. According to officials, a deputy then fired one shot at the man, shooting through the door of the vehicle and hitting the suspect in the arm. The injuries are non-life threatening, say deputies.
OSBI was called and will investigate the deputy-involved shooting.
