This week, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a Texas abortion law similar to the one in place in Oklahoma, prompting Oklahoma senators are speaking out.
The high court found that the Texas law incorporated unnecessary medical regulations and ruled that the state was restricting a woman’s right to an abortion.
The justices voted 5-3 Monday in favor of Texas clinics that protested the regulations as a thinly veiled attempt to make it harder for women to get an abortion in the nation's second-most populous state.
