After almost striking three officers with a vehicle, one man is on the run from local authorities.
Police say their special investigations team were called to a motel in east Tulsa to identify a suspect accused of being involved in a human trafficking case Monday evening. According to TPD, when they approached the suspect and revealed they were officers, the suspect hit one of the officers with his vehicle.
The suspect then drove off as officers fired at the vehicle and eventually he attempted to hit another officer with the vehicle as he left the premise.
Three miles down from the motel, the suspect was located by another officer. The suspect also attempted to run over that officer as well.
"He wasn't sure that the vehicle could even avoid him and get out of parking garage he thought he was going to be struck."
As of right now, Tulsa police say they are not certain if the suspect was shot. They are currently still searching as to his whereabouts.
