OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An Oklahoma man who authored books about sexual bondage has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for sending obscene material to a 17-year-old New York girl.

The Oklahoman reports that 60-year-old Charles Segaloff pleaded guilty in April to one count of sending offensive material to an individual under 18.

Prosecutors say Segaloff traveled to New York in December and picked up the girl and brought her to Oklahoma to join a sexual relationship with him and his girlfriend.

In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed charges that included traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a juvenile, sex trafficking and enticement of a juvenile.

Segaloff said he did not believe at the time that what he was doing was illegal, telling the court: "This was the stupidest thing I've ever done."
