The Oklahoma State Dept. of Health (OSDH) is reporting three flu-related deaths since the start of the season on Oct. 4, 2015.
According to the website, there have been 16 new hospitalizations and/or deaths reported with testing between Feb. 17 to Feb. 23, 2016.
It went on to report that there have been 204 cumulative hospitalizations and/or deaths since Oct. 4, 2015.
OSDH says that while the flu-related hospitalizations have been reported throughout the state, the deaths occurred among residents in Harper, Rogers and Tulsa counties.

Those more susceptible to flu-related complications, according to OSDH, are young children, elderly people, pregnant women and people with long-term medical complications.
