It was practically love at first sight for one Oklahoma couple and their recent photo shoot has been garnering fast-paced admiration from the internet.
Clemma and Sterling Elmore told ABC News that it’s been 57 years since they met, started going steady and were married just four months later.
“He said the first time that he laid eyes on me that he said ‘That’s the girl I’m going to marry,’” Clemma Elmore, 76, said in Tuesday interview with ABC News.
The pair recently had a photo shoot with Stacy Welch-Christ that was inspired by the Nicholas Spark’s novel and movie, “The Notebook.”
“I love that movie. We both love that movie. Such a sweet movie,” Clemma Elmore said, adding: “We have seen it twice.”
As of Tuesday night, ABC News reports, the photos featuring vintage trucks and pastures were shared around 37,000 times.
“We are totally overwhelmed. It just has got us just – well, we’re just humbled by the comments,” Stacy Welch-Christ told ABC News.
In February the pair will celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary.
