After proposing a bill that would limit what womencould wear to certain meetings, a Kansas legislator is issuing an apology.
Senator Mitch Holmes said in part that he should have clarified the dress code was for men as well, instead of focusing solely on women.
"No I don't, I issued a statement and that's all I have got at this point. I am not adding anything to the statement that I have already made. I will be glad to give you a copy if you would like to see it."
The original guidelines sparked bi-partisan criticism that led to his apology.
