It’s been 25 years since former University of Oklahoma law professor Anita Hill stood before the U.S. Senate Judiciary committee and described the alleged sexual harassment she says she received from now Supreme Court associate justice Clarence Thomas.
HBO released its film depiction of the events on Saturday. The movie, “Confirmation,” stars Kerry Washington as Anita Hill and Greg Kinnear as then Senator Joe Biden.
The testimony was aired live on television in a moment in history that Thomas called a “high-tech lynching.”
