ARAPAHO, Okla. (AP) -- The latest on a shooting incident in western Oklahoma that left two motorists dead.
3 p.m.
An arraignment on a driving under the influence complaint has been postponed for aman who authorities say is their only suspect in shootings along an Oklahoma highway that left two people dead.
Custer County Sheriff Bruce Peoples says Jeremy Doss Hardy is now scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Hardy, who authorities say is their "only person" being investigated for the shootings, is jailed on a preliminary complaint of driving under the influence.
Peoples said he expects more charges to be filed by Monday. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown couldn't immediately say Friday afternoon whether investigators had submitted an affidavit to prosecutors.
Authorities have said at least four vehicles were hit along a three-county stretch of Interstate 40, killing a man traveling with his wife near Hydro and a woman more than 10 miles away in Weatherford.

A trucker who was driving on the Oklahoma highway where two people were fatally shot says his tractor-trailer was hit by gunfire, with one of the bullets narrowly missing him.
Trucker Josh Morris says a pickup sped past him twice on Interstate 40, the second time firing on his vehicle.
Morris told The Associated Press on Friday that he first thought a rock struck the side of his cab, but discovered that it was a bullet after pulling over. Morris says the round lodged in a metal plate inside the door.
The man authorities have said is their only suspect in the shootings, 36-year-old Jeremy Doss Hardy, is jailed in Custer County on a preliminary complaint of driving under the influence. Authorities said more charges are likely.
Custer County Sheriff Bruce Peoples says Hardy is due to be arraigned on the DUI charge Friday afternoon.

The father of a Texas man being investigated for a pair of suspected random killings along an Oklahoma interstate says someone else might be responsible for the crime.
Robert Hardy, the father of suspect Jeremy Doss Hardy, suggested toThe Oklahoman newspaper that police stopped his son by mistake.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Thursday Hardy's the "only person" being investigated for the shootings.
He is jailed in Custer County on a complaint of driving under the influence and is due to be arraigned on that charge Friday afternoon.
