Common Core replacement passes OK Dept. of Edu.

The replacement for Common Core standards is getting closer to being utilized in Oklahoma public schools. 

A standard was approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education for public schools that includes changes for English, Math, Health and Physical Education.

State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister says the change gives local schools more flexibility amid budget cuts.
