EL RENO, Okla. – An Amber Alert was issuedfor an 8-year-old girl reported missing Thursday morning.
The little girl's name is Mabel Lopez and her clothing description has not been sent down at this time.
Lopez is believed to be in a gray 2005 Ford XPl with an Oklahoma license plate number 689LHD. Previously, Amber Alert authorities indicated the car was green but around 5 p.m. they sent a correction.
According to the alert, Mabel Lopez is believed to be with a man possibly linked to a recent stabbing in El Reno.
NBC Oklahoma City station, KFOR, that around 11 p.m. Wednesday El Reno Police Department located a Hispanic male suffering from several stab wounds.
The assault occurred Wednesday evening and the suspect Arcenio De Jesus reportedly fled the city. Authorities believe he is intending to travel to Mexico with his wife, Maria LOPEZ or Maria RAMIEREZ and the 8-year-old.
Authorities believe that the wife, Maria Ramierez, as well as Mabel Lopez could be in danger.
