EDMOND, Okla. (AP) - An official says two people were hurt when a firework shot too low to the ground during a Fourth of July display in Edmond.
Edmond Police Sgt. James Hamm tells TV station KOCO the incident happened about 15 minutes into the LibertyFest show Monday night at the University of Central Oklahoma.
He says when a firework went off too low, shrapnel injured a bystander and a person overseeing the show.
The station reports the two were taken to a hospital by private vehicle with minor injuries.
