OKLAHOMA CITY – Two people are facing abuse charges after allegedly being involved in the sexual assault of a 17 year old woman with autism.
Joanna Cortez faces three counts of abuse by a caretaker charge and Johnny Lee Samples faces a charge of lewd acts with a child under 14, reports Oklahoma City’s KFOR.
KFOR goes on to report that the victim claimed she was sexually assaulted multiple times over the course of two years by Samples.
Police reports indicate that Samples told the girl she would be arrested if she told about the sexual encounters.
