Safari Joe's H20 water park is preparing for their grand opening on May 28 and organizers are working to insure the grounds are ready for visitors.
Currently, on going renovations and projects including the new slide, Reptile Rush, are still in the process of being constructed. However, park manager Amber Woessner expects finishing touches to be complete before the park's grand opening.
Woessner, who has worked at the water park for over a decade, says this year's summer attractions will be better than ever.
“Everything is better. I've worked at the park here for 14 years and I've seen things gradually get better and better. But I'd say this year-Tulsa is going to be so impressed, “ Woessner said.
With addition of new rides, Safari Joe's H20 will allow families to carry coolers into the park for a small fee. Outside food and drink will be permitted on park grounds, however organizers hope guests will still enjoy many of the new menu items the park will be offering this summer.
“Coolers will be $15.00 for a small and $30.00 dollars for a large. Pack it full with food. We'll have size examples at the gate,” Woessner said.
