A national call to protest the Planned Parenthood organization ignited a rally outside of a Planned Parenthood clinic near downtown Tulsa.
With both sides in full force, demonstrators yelled exchanges back and forth throughout the morning on 10th and Peoria causing many to stop and watch the rally as it ensued.
Victory Christian Center instructor, Ida Miller, canceled class in order to allow her students time to protest the organization and says she wanted to do it the right way.
"We're not out here to make enemies, but we are here to make a statement," Miller said.
Protesters held signs stating, "De-fund Planned Parenthood," while advocates chanted words of support wearing t-shits with, "I Stand With Planned Parenthood" inscribed on the front.
Oklahoma organizer, Aaron Wilder, helped coordinate the pro-Planned Parenthood rally outside of the Tulsa clinic and says people in the state rely on the organization's services.
"Despite what the opposition claims Planned Parenthood is a needed resource in Tulsa and we see thousands and patients," Wilder said.

"Beyond this weekend our supporters are going to be engaged in advocacy and going to contacting their members in the legislature," Wilder said
