TULSA, Okla. — A local disabled Veteran called the 2 Works for You Problem Solvers after going nearly a month without hot water in her home.
The reason? A miscommunication with her home warranty provider and her plumber.
Now she can finally take a hot shower thanks to just a few phone calls by our Problem Solvers.
It all started because she was having issues with her hot water heater and called her home warranty company.
“I was told that I needed a new hot water heater. It needed to be replaced and that never happened," Lynn Shepherd said. "I wait almost a month without hot water. I contacted the plumber several times. I contacted my home warranty company several times and I was getting desperate to have hot water.”
A week into her hot water issues, Shepherd had to quarantine for a COVID-19 exposure, stranding her in her home without the ability to take a hot shower.
“I’m just so grateful that channel two was so able to fix this. With in a matter of a couple of hours it was, I was shocked. I was so shocked," Shepard said. "I had just set up an interview time. And the next thing I know, the plumber is calling and he's on his way home. And the next thing I know, the home warranty people are on the phone.“
