TULSA, Okla. -- 2 Works for You Problem Solvers helps a Tulsa woman get in contact with the city to help mow overgrown brush near 12th and Memorial.

“Pretty mug jungle in the middle of town," homeowner Janet Bohl said.

If you peak through the chain-link fence, it’s a mystery what you’ll find.

“That was so pretty when I moved in," Bohl said. "That was all blooms and smelled really, really good."

Some things you may find, old ketchup bottle, tires, plastic bottles and shoes. But it's all barely noticeable due to overgrown brush.

“There use to be homeless people living back here and some shoes are still against the fence," Bohl said. "They were sleeping in the high grass by the fence. We’ve got a lot behind us that’s really grown up and we’re seeing snakes and that’s got everybody terrified.”

There's also a lawnmower. Bohl filed a complaint with the city of Tulsa on July 3rd.

“We just need something done," she said. "I mean you can’t mow it now. It’s just too bad. It’s going to take more than a mower.”

2 Works for You called the city. They issued a Notice to Abate to the homeowner, which requires them to be mow and clean the lot. If it is not mowed by Tuesday, the city contractor will clean it up and bill the homeowner.

“With the bugs problem, the snake problem, the fungus problem and stuff back there, it’s a big problem," Bohl said.

Now, it’s just a matter of time before a helping hand saves the day.

“We really appreciate all the help we can get," Bohl said.
