TULSA (AP) - Police say a 6-year-old boy was injured when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Tulsa.
Tulsa police Sgt. Patrick Stephens says a witness told authorities that a Chevrolet Impala struck the boy just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, and the driver briefly pulled over. Stephens says that according to the witness, the driver then drove away from the scene.
The child was taken to a hospital, where police say he is in stable condition.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
