The picture of a mother discovering the gender of her baby is starting to pop up everywhere. The reason is mostly because the mother, Koto Nakamura, was told her child was a girl when, in fact, it was a boy.

Nakamura’s midwife was actually joking before the delivery saying that one time she had a client who was surprised by the gender of her baby right before they all discovered the same situation was about to take place once again.
"We were all laughing and joking about it, saying, 'Oh gosh, as if that would happen to us,'" said Nakamura's birth photographer, Jessica Jackson told the Today Show. "We were trying to imagine how the mother must have felt — little did we know it was about to happen to Koto, too."
For months, the Nakamura’s planned for a little girl. They even had pink clothing and a name all picked out, planning for a daughter.
Of course, after the shock wore off, the couple says they were just happy to welcome their first child into the world.
"I was shocked for a few seconds, and then it didn't matter if it was a girl or a boy," said Nakamura.
The Australian couple decided to name their son Taiga, a Japanese name meaning “big and gracious,” according to the Today Show.
