OKLAHOMA CITY -- One person died Wednesday morning after an ambulance she was riding in crashed.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the wreck happened as a female patient was being transported to St. Anthony Hospital.
The ambulance was traveling northbound on I-44 near Southwest 59th when the driver lost control and rolled down an embankment.
The two paramedics inside were transported to the hospital in unknown condition. The female patient died on impact, according to OHP.
