OSBI offering reward for information on year-old Pittsburg County homicide

PITTSBURG COUNTY, Okla. -- The Oklahoma State Bureau is asking for the public’s help solving a year-old Pittsburg County homicide.

OSBI says on February 26, 2016, 30-year-old Nathan David Scoggins was found dead in his home on 36 Last Resort Road near Longtown.

Authorities say Scoggins died from a gunshot wound.

OSBI says agents have numerous pieces of evidence and that the case may be able to be solved with additional information.

OSBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information on the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
