WETUMKA, Okla. -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a fatal officer-involved shooting in Wetumka Saturday.
According to OSBI, Dylan Rogers, 39, was shot and killed after attempting to run over a Wetumka Police officer.
The shooting happened after Rogers was arrested, handcuffed and placed in the back seat of a Wetumka police cruiser following a pursuit, says OSBI.
OSBI says Rogers slipped out of one cuff, got out of the car and into a Hughes County Sheriff Deputy's car.
An officer then allegedly shot at and struck Rogers when he drove toward the officer, says OSBI. Rogers died at the scene.
The district attorney will now determine whether or not the shooting was justified.
