SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (AP) -- The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office say a man found dead in a creek near Sand Springs was the victim of a hit-and-run.
The sheriff's office says in a news release that the 50-year-old man was apparently pushing a bicycle late Thursday or early Friday when he was struck.
The release says the man died a short time later. His body was found Saturday morning in Big Heart Creek by a person walking along the creek and the bicycle was found nearby.
The man's name has not been released.
