TULSA - The attorney representing officer Betty Shelby in her possible criminal case talked with 2 Works for You Tuesday about the officer's side of what happened and the moments before she fired the fatal shot at Terence Crutcher.
Attorney Scott Wood says Shelby is distraught over Crutcher's death and she believed her life was in danger because of Crutcher's erratic behavior. Watch Wood's full interview in the player below.
According to her attorney, she also says Crutcher kept reaching down and patting his left pocket. Her attorney says that led Shelby to believe Crutcher had a gun in his pocket.
Wood also said that Shelby has been receiving death threats.
