After losing so much, one orphaned little girl recovering from burn injuries in New York is asking for something so simple for Christmas this year.

Safrye Terry’s father and three younger siblings were killed in a fire caused by arson two years ago. She was found next to her father who used his body to save her from the flames.

Now, Safrye is recovering from having over 75 percent of her body covered in burn injuries as well as the loss of her right hand and left foot because of the fire.

Safrye’s paternal aunt, who has sole custody, told Buzzfeed that she has another surgery this upcoming January.

Despite all of the hardship and hurt this little girl has had to deal with, she’s still excited for the holidays and more specifically her aunt’s Christmas card tree. She just needs your help!

Her aunt told Buzzfeed she bought a tree to hang Christmas cards on this year, and Safyre instantly was excited to fill it up. But her aunt pointed out that the tree has enough space for 100 cards.

So, her aunt posted to Facebook asking anyone to send her niece a holiday card to fill up their tree.

You can send a card to Safrye with the address below.
