We all make typographical errors but in the news industry where we use prompters, they can really make a newscast interesting.
Take NBC12 in Richmond’s slip up for instance. One of their anchors read the words on the prompter but someone accidentally put “check your panties” instead of “check your pantries” in reference to a story about slow cooker recall.
