LOS ANGELES — On what would've been his 80th birthday, the US Postal Service debuted a commemorative stamp of legendary singer Marvin Gaye.
According to their website, the USPS features a portrait of the "Prince of Soul" which is inspired by historic photographs and resembles a vintage record sleeve.
The USPS said the stamps will feature a brief biography and an image of a record peeking out of the sleeve.
"Gaye's presence and unique sound will live on forever through his music and now through the mail," the postal service said.
Gaye died in 1984.
