Actor Tom Arnold and the wife of TV producer Mark Burnett tweeted Sunday evening that Arnold and Burnett got into a scuffle at an Emmy's event on Sunday evening.

On Sunday evening, Arnold tweeted that Burnett had gone "apes*** & choked me" at a "huge Emmy party." He also tweeted that he was "waiting for the LAPD."

Burnett's wife, Roma Downey, later tweeted a photo of her bruised hand, which she says she sustained in the scuffle between Arnold and Burnett.

"Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event.  Is your TV show worth it Tom?Please stop (sic)," she tweeted.

Arnold responded "You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I’m filing police report & suing you for defamation."

Downey's tweet seems to suggest that the scuffle centered around Arnold's latest project, The Hunt For The Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold. Arnold has been searching for tapes of President Trump making racist and sexist remarks on the set of The Apprentice, a show which Burnett hosted.

A number of former employees and contestants on The Apprentice, including former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman, have reported that Trump made uncouth remarks on the set of the show. However, Burnett has denied the existence of such tapes, and President Trump tweeted earlier this year the Burnett had called and confirmed that such tapes do not exist.

The Hunt For The Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold premiers Tuesday on Viceland.
