The tails of five juvenile Gray squirrels have now been freed after they became entangled and were bound together.

The Wisconsin Humane Society rescued the siblings after their tails became tangled from the grass and plastic their mother used as a nest.

The squirrels were first anesthetized to keep them from squirming around and then came the tireless task of untangling the tails.

WHS was able to unravel the tails and successfully free them in a surprising 20 minutes according to their Facebook post.

Now comes the rehabilitation process for the young squirrels, but WHS officials say the squirrels are "bright-eyed and three of the five are bushy-tailed."
