Seven Dwarfs train catches fire at Disney World

Embers from fireworks at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom sparked a fire on a popular new ride Saturday night.

The fire on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was quickly put out, according to a Disney spokesman.

At about 10:30 p.m., after the daily fireworks show, embers landed on the main building, starting the fire. 

Passengers were on the ride at the time, and all were evacuated safely.

The fire was put out and the ride reopened later Saturday evening.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which opened on May 28, is the newest attraction at Walt Disney World Orlando.

The ride immerses guests in the world of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." The addition of the attraction completed New Fantasyland, the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom.
