Three teenage girls are facing animal cruelty charges after abusing a bunny, but that won’t help the poor creature heal any faster.
For that, Fuzzy Pants has been sent to BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Tampa from Jacksonville, where the heartbreaking incident occurred.

Fuzzy Pants was seen on snapchat video being thrown against a wall by the three teens over Memorial Day weekend. They were arrested earlier this week in Jacksonville after the video caused an Internet firestorm.

On Thursday, Tampa veterinarians took full body X-rays and discovered several fractures. Doctors, however are optimistic.
“She’s stable and she’s eating well,” Dr. Peter Helmer of BluePearl said, according to Patch.com.
Doctors hope that Fuzzy Pants recovers enough to move in with a foster family – eventually she be placed with an adoptive family, they hope.
It wasn’t immediately clear how long her recovery is expected to take.
