The man who was arrested for kidnapping 13-year-old Deontae Mitchell in Detroit late Tuesday night has been officially charged.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged 26-year-old Earnest Coleman with kidnapping.
It is believed Coleman kidnapping Deontae with the help of Gregory Walker and Roy Portis.
Sources also say Coleman helped walker assault Deontae. He was found dead in a field on Thursday.
Right now, Worthy said there is no other information being provided as the homicide investigation continues.
Coleman will be arraigned in court on Sunday.
