A Texas girl fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer made one of her biggest dreams come true Wednesday night, when she walked the runway at New York Fashion Week.
Dressed in a custom-made, ruby-red gown, 11-year-old Trinity Faith Moran walked beside designer Naeem Khan during his final show at the Skylight Moynihan Station.
Moran, who has rhabdomyosarcoma -- a life-threatening cancer involving muscle tissue -- shared her dream of walking in a fashion show with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
That’s when Khan and stylist Mary Alice Stephenson stepped in, offering Trinity a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Stephenson has reportedly worked with Make-a-Wish for the past 15 years.
"Trinity is the cutest, sweetest girl ever," Khan told Mashable. "When [Stephenson] asked me to do this, it's like, how can you not? It's a wish."
As far as Trinity’s brave fight goes, she is reportedly scheduled to have surgery in five weeks.
